During an eyelash lift, our Lash Stylist at Sakura Spa lifts the natural lashes at the base. The lashes are curled upwards, creating the illusion of much longer lashes with an intense yet natural curve. Eyelash lifting gently smoothens, lifts, and elongates the lashes, making them appear thicker and more voluminous. Following the eyelash lift, we tint your lashes, emphasizing the full length of the tips, which may have faded due to sun and water exposure, and making every lash stand out. With valuable nourishing ingredients like keratin booster and proteins, eyelash lifting positively impacts natural lashes, strengthening their structure with nutrients, resulting in healthy, long, dense, color-intensive, and perfectly curled lashes. Eyelash lifting is also suitable for contact lens wearers.
How does an eyelash lift treatment work?
Our Lash Stylist at Sakura Spa uses carefully selected products of the highest quality for eyelash lifting. These products promote the growth and multiplication of keratin in the roots of the lashes, providing a visible effect by thickening, protecting, and strengthening the lashes. The lashes go through the following steps during the eyelash lift treatment:
- The lashes are degreased with a primer.
- Pads are placed on the eyelid.
- The lashes are smoothly adhered to the pad with glue.
- The first lotion is applied to the middle of the silicone pad for reshaping.
- The lotion takes effect and is then removed.
- The lashes are fixed with a second lotion.
- Tinting adds expression and intensity to the lashes.
- A lotion strengthens the lashes with nourishing ingredients.
- The eye area is cleaned.
How long does eyelash lifting last?
The duration of eyelash lifting depends primarily on the structure of your lashes or the texture of the hairs, which varies from person to person. Generally, a treatment lasts several weeks and can be repeated afterward.
Pay attention after the lash lifting
After the lifting you should avoid water, sports, sauna, mascara and other various eyelash cosmetics for at least 24 hours. Otherwise it could have a negative impact on the eyelash lifting result and durability. Please avoid any contact with water on your eyes for 24 hours after the treatment. Please do not shower or apply cream! You can then return to your usual care. If you use mascara, we recommend only using water-soluble mascara. When removing make-up, please pay attention to products without oil and alcohol. We recommend using the sauna, steam bath or solarium only once a week. We also advise against using the eyelash curler. However, you can still use your cosmetic products.
