- Phyto- and kojic acid prevent the first stage of melanin synthesis by inhibiting the action of the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for the oxidation of melanin. Thus, the formation of skin pigments is simply suppressed.
- Arbutin, a fir extract, is a natural active ingredient of plant origin which, in combination with kojic acid, accelerates the breakdown and dehydration of melanin.
- The presence of high doses of vitamin A in the form of retinyl palmitate prevents melanin from oxidizing. It binds oxygen to itself. This prevents the production of melanin.

Remove mask
After the first treatment visit, you will go home with the mask we applied for you.
Leave the mask on for 8 – 12 hours, depending on the instructions.
Then remove them with plenty of water.

Home care procedure after treatment
In cases of general hyperpigmentation:
Use Mesoestetic Cosmelan 2 Maintenance Cream according to method 3, 2, 1:
– three applications during the first month: morning, noon and evening
– two applications during the second and third month: morning / evening
– one application from the fourth to the seventh month: in the evening
The cream increases the depilation effect of the Cosmelan 1 mask and inhibits the formation of new melanin.
It is important to follow the protocol exactly to achieve optimal results.
A burning or slightly stinging sensation may occur during the first few days of use.
The use of a sunscreen with at least SPF 50 to protect sensitive skin areas is essential after treatment and as preventative skin care.
