How Often Should I Have Microneedling?
For best results, we recommend 10 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Your skin texture changes just a few days after Microneedling. However, collagen production reaches its peak after six to eight weeks, and the skin continues to change for up to 6 months after Microneedling. With each subsequent session and advancing regeneration process, the skin texture gradually improves, resulting in more beautiful and firmer skin. Fine lines, pigment spots, unevenness, and scars gradually diminish, and the skin becomes more radiant, youthful, and fresh.

Contraindications - When Is Microneedling Not Advisable?
– Sunburn
– Severe skin infections (e.g., herpes) in the area to be treated
– Wounds and severe skin irritations in the area to be treated
– Immediately after aesthetic surgeries or other surgical procedures in the area to be treated
– Taking strong blood-thinning medications
– Coagulation disorders, which also increase the risk of post-bleeding
– Tendency to form keloids (raised scars)
Before and After Microneedling - What Should I Consider?
Before Microneedling:
Avoid sunbathing in the days leading up to the treatment and use a high sun protection factor.
After Microneedling:
Refrain from sports and sauna on the day of the treatment.
Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds in the following weeks.
Use only an alcohol-free hyaluronic serum after the treatment, avoiding any skin-irritating care products.
In the following weeks, be sure to use sun protection with a minimum of SPF 50+.
Possible Side Effects and Associated Reactions
Immediately after the Microneedling treatment, your face may be red. However, you will be socially presentable the next day. If the skin is still red, you can easily cover it with makeup. Swelling may occur in cases of very sensitive or irritated skin, and these areas may be covered with camouflage or powder. Bruising can occur but is rare. In the case of deep treatments, there may be weeping areas or crust formation, which will heal on their own within the next few days. After the treatment, use only an alcohol-free hyaluronic serum for care and avoid any skin-irritating products.
– The skin may tingle and burn after the treatment.
– Swelling and redness may occur.
– Weeping areas and crust formation may occur, especially with deeper and larger-area treatments.
– Pigment shifts can occur, such as lightening (hypopigmentations) or darkening (hyperpigmentations), especially in darker skin types.
